About the Event
Animal Emergency Medical Training is providing a comprehensive animal handling, field first aid, and CPR course open to K9 Handlers and other First Responders. Day 1, open to all attendees, will provide training in animal restraint/handling/safety, tactical field first aid, assessment and treatment of shock, vital signs assessment, bandaging, and hands-on training in Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR. Day 2, open to advanced emergency medical professionals only (AEMTs and paramedics), will provide additional training in IV catheterization, airway management, shock stabilization, additional tactical field first aid scenarios, and Advanced Life Support (ALS) CPR using state-of-the-art CPR simulators.
Registration for Day 1 is open to ALL levels (K9 Handlers, firefighters, EMRs, EMTs, AEMTs, paramedics). For advanced EMS professionals attending BOTH days, DO NOT register here. Instead, please sign up on the 2-day event registration page.
